Creeping Compromise (Book Review)

The book, Creeping Compromise opened my eyes and made me have a different perspective on life. It also gave me discernment to know what’s of God and what’s not. I first came across this book while I was having bible study with someone, and they told me, “If you want to better understand why you shouldn’t do certain things you should read this book.” A powerful text that explains this point is 1 John 2:15-17, and it says Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any men love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”

I really love this book because it makes strong points which it backs up with facts, statements, and scripture. This book is perfect for someone who is searching for answers on the world. For example, does God want us to wear jewelry? Is it okay to listen to secular music? What kind of diet does God wants us to eat, and many more. If you want to read a book with a great purpose behind it Creeping Compromise is for you! When people start to compromise with worldly things their minds become altered, and they slowly begin to think that unchristlike things are acceptable in the church. God says in His Word that He doesn’t change and that He’s consistent, meanwhile Satan is trying to alter religious traditions and values. We must stand firm on his Word and uphold it.
