Christ In Christian Courtship (Book Review)
After reading Christ in Christian Courtship I have a whole new outlook on how Christians should date. One of the major points I learned is marrying someone based solely on physical attraction is wrong, and I should marry someone because I truly love them. This wonderful book was given to me by a friend who received it while attending a Christian organization called Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC), a yearly event. This book goes in depth about actual godly courtship counseling and rejects the world’s idea of dating. The purpose of Christian dating is to find out God’s will for our lives, and not to flirt or take liberties with the opposite sex. I think this would be a very beneficial book to anyone who is dating, plans to date, or is thinking about marriage, because this book gives numerous real-life scenarios and statistics.
