11 Health Habits That Will Help You Live to 100

As Seventh Day Adventists sometimes we take for granted the great truths that God has blessed us with.

Recently, the Seventh Day Adventist’s  have been recognized by many news organizations being noted for their length of life and overall healthy lifestyle; but, the credit doesn’t belongs to us. The glory should be going to God for bestowing such amazing truths to us through HIS written word, the Holy Spirit, and the spirit of prophecy. In the book Counsels on Diet and Food by Ellen G. White, a very significant statement is made (on pg 15, par. 2) in regards to health. It says, “Every faculty with which the Creator has endowed us should be cultivated to the highest degree of perfection, that we may be able to do the greatest amount of good of which we are capable. Hence that time is spent to good account which is used in the establishment and preservation of physical and mental health. We cannot afford to dwarf or cripple any function of body or mind.”

In the article, 11 Health Habits That Will Help You Live to 100, Living like a Seventh Day Adventist is No. 8 on the list! As followers of Christ, we shouldn’t be at all surprised at the public’s interest in our health message – This article is just one of the many tools that God uses to spread his end times message to the world. As Christians we all should want to live healthy lives for Christ so that we can be faithful witnesses for His cause.  Remember, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God – 1 Cor 10:31.

This is Great News, don’t you think so?
