Power of Prayer (Book Review)

The Power of Prayer by E. G. White
Prayer provides the Power to Heal; many diseases, cure ailments and makes one feel better mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally. There is nothing more important in this life than prayer. This is our connection to God. It is our bridge to heaven and we draw strength from prayer. In this book you will see different types of prayer, Morning Prayer, Fervent Prayer, Prayer of Faith and so much more. Psalm 91:15 says “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” When we call upon the name of the Lord He hears our prayers. (Psalm 65:2) “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” says David. In Power of Prayer you will see how all prayers are answered by God and how prayers deepen our convictions.

You will also see how Enoch, Moses, Elijah, Hezekiah, Nehemiah, Martin Luther and Jesus Prayed, and received answers. God is the same yesterday today and forever He never changed. The woman who was healed by just her thought, said “For if I can just touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole,” as she crawled on the ground, rustling through the crowd to get to Jesus. Just her Faith made her heal. There is power in prayer. Jesus Christ is our intercessor and He intercedes for us. We are not alone in the crucibles of life Jesus is on our side! This book will strengthen your prayer life, build up your faith, teach you patience, humble you and draw you so much closer to the Lord.

Power in Prayer was given to me to by a friend to read while I was recovering from a liver transplant 10 years ago and it did all that and more for me. You will not regret reading this book!
I give this book 5 out of 5 Star!
