What are YOU Worth?

In the eyes of others, the more possessions and popularity that you gain, the more you are worth. Have you overlooked your life and health as one of the greatest possessions? But the real question is this: when you die, how did it profit you to gain the wealth of the world? Mark 8:36-37 says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul, or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Don’t you wish there was a way that you could lay-away your wealth and live forever?
You can! John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me” and Matthew 6:20 says, “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.”
But as sinners we are sentenced to death as Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” and Romans 6:23 states, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Our penalty has been paid by Jesus, the Son of God as in Romans 3:24, it says we are “justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is Christ Jesus.” This gift of eternal life is extended without cost. Jesus only asks that we receive Him, and keep His commandments as John 1:12 says. “But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” In John 14:15, Jesus reminds us, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” So don’t sell yourself cheap!
